Current information on public events and the coronavirus

All events at the Academy of Music and Drama are canceled until May 31. This measure ist taken due to the decision that all teaching has to be remote as of March 18, taken by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gothenburg on March 17.

We refund all tickets purchased for canceled events, excluding the handling fee. Refunds are automatically made to the account you purchased from. Due to the high work load at the ticket service Billetto, the refund will be delayed.

Read about refunds in case of cancellation on Billetto's website.

Information about our events

The Academy of Music and Drama normally puts on over 200 public concerts and performances per year given by students, teachers and guest teachers.
Since our programmes and courses extend from opera and theatre to world music and jazz, the choice is varied and often boundary-breaking. Concerts are also put on at museums and other places in and around Gothenburg. Most of the events are presented in a printed programme in the autumn and one in the spring, where events are listed with participants and items to be performed.

Seasonal programmes are available in the foyer in the Artisten building as well as in public libraries in Gothenburg, the Gothenburg Tourist Center and cultural institutions as from the middle of August or January respectively.

You can also subscribe to our newsletter. That way you will receive the up-to-date list of all our concerts and performances once a month. You can also read the programme in the Academy Calendar and University Calendar of current activities.
