Artist talk: David Dencik


Actor David Dencik in an artist talk on screen acting.

The internationally renowned actor David Dencik once again visits the Academy of Music and Drama within the framework of an Artist in Residence Programme, which is supported financially by the Stena Foundation. David Dencik is currently involved in the production of a film about Thomas Quick, which was shot in West Sweden last autumn.

In the film, which he also produces, he plays the title role. During the conversation he gives insights into the film shooting process, but also about what is characteristic of interesting screen acting.

Hanna Sköld from the Valand Academy, and Peter Melin, from the Academy of Music and Drama will be conversing with Dencik, the audience is also encouraged to participate.
