Although Mozart wrote only two-thirds of his requiems himself, this is one of his most famous and admired works. Einojuhanni Rautavaara was still a student when his requiem for a brass ensemble received the first prize at an international composition competition. He wrote the work in memory of his mother. The evening begins with Pie Jesu from Lili Boulanger's unfinished requiem. Also on Friday, 15 November at 17:00, Artisten, Göteborg.
