University of Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra

The students of the MA programme in symphonic orchestra performance make up an entirely new orchestra, the University of Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra forms the foundation for this Master's degree programme for top-ranking students from all over Europe. The programme is organized in collaboration with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, the Göteborg Opera and the Opera unit at our Academy, in order to offer the basic repertoire of the professional orchestral musician.
