Exchange for incoming students

The networks in which the Academy of Music and Drama participates provide students with great opportunities for exchanges and more specialised cooperation with other departments in the field of music and drama, not only in the Nordic region but also within and outside Europe.

Exchange studies completed within the networks may not have fees imposed upon them. The length of exchange studies must be at least three months and at most one year. Students can also apply for practical training abroad, with the support of Erasmus.

To qualify to apply for exchange studies, the student must have completed one year at her/his home department, and gained a pass. Exchange studies usually take place during the second year of study or during the autumn term of the third year of study.

Partner institutions

The Academy of Music and Drama has a large number of exchange agreements with other institutions.

Find out what partner institutions we have, as well as search for university wide agreements.

If you are studying at an institution that does not have an agreement with the Academy of Music and Drama and is interested in exchange or collaboration, please send an email to international@hsm.gu.se.
