BA Music and Sound Production

Video: Students from the programmes for Music and Sound Production and Independent Performance spent a day in October 2017 making site specifik sound pieces.

This programme i taught in Swedish. In the autumn 2013, the Academy of Music and Drama started a new artistic master's program in music and sound production. The programme is aimed at those with pre-education and / or experience from music and audio production, and who want to develop their skills.

Today, technology is not just a tool for creating music and sound. In some ways, the studio becomes more an instrument than a collection of technical devices. It is the foundation of our new education programme in music and sound production, where we focus on both artistic and technical knowledge of both theory and practice. The training will prepare you for a future within the national and international music and audio industry by further developing your artistic motivations, your knowledge and your personal expression.

As a student of music and sound production at the Academy of Music and Drama you get to meet these teachers with extensive experience in both music industry and universities:

Erik Jonasson has extensive experience both as a teacher in audio and media at the university and partly as a freelance music producer, musician and sound engineer.

Per Anders Nilsson has extensive experience as a teacher in audio technology and electro-acoustic music, but is also improviser, composer and researcher.

Palle Dahlstedt is a successful researcher, musician, composer and designer of electronic musical instruments.
