The Scholarship Committee at the Academy is responsible for the awarding of scholarships.
Here you can read about the regulations governing the work of the Scholarship Committee. In this document you can also read about the regulations governing the assessment of scholarship applications. In order for you to be successful in applying for scholarships, it is very important to be familiar with the contents of the regulations. The Scholarship Committee meets at regular intervals during the academic year.

Different methods of handling scholarships
A scholarship is often based on a donation from a private individual organisation, and described in a special deed of gift, a will or similar. The Academy of Music and Drama has no scholarship funds of its own. On the other hand, there are funds that the Academy has power of attorney to monitor how the scholarship award is made.

This means that all scholarships differ from each other, not only in the size of the sum involved but also when it comes to who is eligible to apply for the scholarship, how and when one should apply for it, how it is awarded and how it is to be accounted for, etc.
