Entrance examinations

Application period

The application period for autumn term 2018 will be from 1 December 2017 until 15 January 2018.

How to apply (valid for 2017)

You apply in several steps. You can see below how to proceed:

Entrance examinations

Entrance examinations will be held at the Academy and you will be requested to come after you have submitted your application.
The audition consists of 20 minutes of music of the applicant's own choosing. The applicant can choose to feature either interpretation or improvisation skills, or both.
A short interview will be held after the musical performance where the applicant should be prepared to talk about his or her project.

For foreign students auditions can be presented on an attested copy of a CD, DVD, mp3 or audio cassettes and sent by post to the Academy of Music and Drama.

Applicants from countries within the EU as well as Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland will be admitted free of charge.
Applicants from other countries will be charged tuition fees.
