When you have completed the Master programme you may apply for doctoral studies.

Selection and entrance examination

You apply for the Master programme in musical drama performance with your own personal idea for a project in the field of opera or musical theatre that deals with musical drama performance. The idea has to be submitted in writing (max. 3 A4 pages) and sent in together with your CV and an application form.
You should not only explain the contents of your project but also how you want to undertake it, in terms of design, timetable, presentation etc. You can supplement your application with a CD, DVD or other material if you want to.
The formulation of the project will form the first element of the entrance test. The admissions jury will then decide whether to ask you to come for further tests, consisting of song audition and interview. For your audition you will have to prepare about 15 minutes of music.
Your personal project proposal will also provide the basis for your independent project (degree thesis) in the programme if you are accepted.
All material must be received by the Academy of Music and Drama no later than 1 February 2016.

Postal Address for proposals and other material
